First Aid Roof Care started the way most good things do: with hard work and a willingness to climb. Our owner picked up his first roof cleaning job as a freshman at Portland State University, where he played football and wrestled. His college wrestling coach connected him with a summer position cleaning shake roofs, and that single job set the direction for everything that followed.

After college, he spent five years in the Los Angeles and Huntington Beach area, cleaning roofs and sharpening his skills in a market that demanded quality and consistency. He returned to Oregon in 1992 and launched First Aid Roof Care as a sole proprietor, building the business one roof at a time across the Willamette Valley.

More than 35 years later, we have cleaned, repaired, and treated over 15,000 roofs for homeowners across Marion, Polk, Linn, Benton, and Clackamas counties. That number is not a marketing figure.
